GRINNELL, Iowa – The Gustavus men’s and women’s swim & dive teams got off to a solid start at Grinnell’s Pioneer Classic on Friday. The Gustie men sit in first place after the first session with a score of 530.5 – nearly 250 more points than the second place team – while the women are one point off the lead with 372 points. Carleton leads the women’s competition with 373 points.
The Gustie men won all six events in the first session, highlighted by a meet record in the 200 freestyle relay.
