Hudson Named MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week

First-year swimmer Dane Hudson (Eden Prairie) had a solid meet for Gustavus at Hamline this past weekend, winning both his individual events as well as partaking in a pair of relay victories. For his performances, Hudson has been named the MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – First-year swimmer Dane Hudson (Eden Prairie) had a solid meet for Gustavus at Hamline this past weekend, winning both his individual events as well as partaking in a pair of relay victories. Hudson won the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.3, and won the 100 butterfly by over two seconds with a time of 52.78. He was a piece of the 200 medley relay team that took first with a time of 1:40.44, and the winning 200 freestyle team with a time of 1:26.93. For his performances, Hudson has been named the MIAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week. This marks the third consecutive week the Gustie men have earned the conference honor as Nolan Larson (Jr., West Des Moines, Iowa) claimed the first two weekly awards.
