All three met automatic qualification by being one of the top-seven finishers not on a national qualifying team at the Central Region meet. This is the first time the Gustavus men’s program has sent more than one runner to the national meet since 1992 when Bob Klindworth and Mike Nordberg finished 36th and 47th, respectively.

The 2019 NCAA Championships are held Saturday at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Ky. The men’s 8k begins at 9:45 a.m. CST and the women follow at 10:45 p.m.
