INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA announced the 64-team Division III Men’s Soccer Championship field Monday afternoon and Gustavus (17-3) will face Colorado College (14-6) at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in a four-team regional hosted by North Park (Chicago). North Park (15-4-1) will take on Pacific Lutheran (14-4-2) at 1 p.m. Saturday. The two first round winners will face each other at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Gustavus earned one of 42 automatic qualifiers to the national tournament with a 3-1 win over St. Thomas in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoff championship Saturday. Colorado College earned an at-large bid after falling to Texas Lutheran 3-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference title match on Sunday.
