Women’s Soccer Blanks Minnesota-Morris 3-0

The Gustavus women's soccer team played host to Minnesota-Morris Sunday afternoon and defeated the Cougars 3-0. With the win the Gusties moved to 4-11 overall while the Cougars move to 4-8.

Women’s Soccer Falls in Overtime to Carleton

The Gustavus women's soccer team played host to Carleton on Saturday and fell in overtime by a score of 1-0. With the loss the Gusties fall to 3-11 overall and 2-6 in the conference, while the Knights improve to 8-2-3 overall and 5-1-2 in the MIAC.

Football Sets School Record With 69 Points in Win Over Hamline

The Gustavus football team put together a strong all-around effort on Saturday to take down Hamline 69-21. The 69-point effort sets the Gustavus football program record for most points in a game. The Gusties scored 69 points against NPI in 1979, however, it went as an exhibition as NPI was not an NCAA institution. With the win the Gusties improve to 4-2 overall and 2-2 in the MIAC while the Pipers move to 1-6 overall and 0-5 in the conference.

Cole Schwartz Hat Trick Leads to 3-1 Win Over Carleton

Cole Schwartz (So., Jakarta, Indonesia) scored three goals in the first 31 minutes of play Saturday as the Gustavus men's soccer team took down Carleton 3-1. With the win the Gusties improve to 12-2 overall and 6-1 in the MIAC while the Knights fall to 10-3-1 overall and 3-2-1 in conference.

Men’s Cross Country Takes Sixth at UW-La Crosse

The Gustavus men’s cross country team took sixth place out of 21 teams Saturday at the UW-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational. Host UW-La Crosse won the event, St. Olaf took second, and Iowa Central Community College placed third.

Women’s Cross Country Takes Fourth at UW-La Crosse

The Gustavus women’s cross country team took fourth place out of 22 teams Saturday at the UW-La Crosse Tori Neubauer Invitational. Iowa Central Community College won the event and had the top three individuals.

Volleyball Sweeps Bethel Thanks to Strong Attack

The Gustavus volleyball team hit .315 Friday night as they swept Bethel 3-0. With the win the Gusties improve to 12-12 overall and 5-2 in the conference while the Royals fall to 15-7 overall and 4-3 in the MIAC.

The Gustavus men’s tennis trio of Indraneel Raut, Michael O’Neil, and Daniel Fouchier concluded play at the ITA Cup on Friday.

Valentine Wraps Up ITA Cup with a Victory

Ginger Valentine concluded play at the ITA Cup on Friday, defeating Nina Mitrofanova of Southwestern (Texas) 6-3, 2-6, 6-4. Valentine finishes the fall season 7-3 overall.
