Women’s Soccer Falters Late in 2-1 Loss to Luther
The Gustavus women's soccer team was unable to hold on to a one-goal lead Saturday afternoon at the Gustie Soccer Field as Luther scored two unanswered goals late in the second period for a 2-1 decision. The Gusties are now 0-3 overall while the Norse improve to 1-2.
Football Wins Season Opener 50-19 Over Martin Luther
The Gustavus football team opened its season on Saturday afternoon with a decisive 50-19 victory over Martin Luther College. For the second year in a row the Knights were able to strike first, but a first half offensive outburst pushed the Gusties through.
Volleyball Drops Two Contests at Loras Invite
The Gustavus volleyball started their second weekend of action on Friday and played two matches, falling to Wartburg 3-2 before dropping the second contest to Loras 3-1. With the results the Gusties move to 4-2 on the season.
Women’s Soccer Takes on Luther Saturday in Home Opener
The Gustavus women’s soccer team hosts Luther for its home opener at 12:30 p.m. Saturday. The Gusties enter the contest 0-2 overall while the Norse are 0-2 as well.
Men’s Soccer Hosts Crown Saturday
The Gustavus men's soccer team will put its 2-0 record on the line this weekend when they host Crown on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The Storm enter the contest 0-2.
Men’s and Women’s Golf in Action This Weekend
The Gustavus men’s and women’s golf teams are both in action Saturday and Sunday. The men travel to Maple Plain, Minn. to compete at the Pioneer Creek Collegiate while the women are in Waverly, Iowa for the Wartburg Fall Invitational.
Football Set for Home Opener Versus Martin Luther Saturday
The Gustavus football team welcomes Martin Luther to Hollingsworth Field at 1 p.m. Saturday for its home opener. The Gusties finished 6-4 last season while the Knights finished 9-2.
Volleyball Set For Weekend Slate at Loras
The No. 11 Gustavus volleyball team will head to Loras this weekend for four games as part of the Loras Invite. The Gusties will play four games, taking on Wartburg, Loras, No. 25 WashU, and St. Norbert.
Men’s Soccer Tops Martin Luther 9-0
The Gustavus men's soccer team traveled to Martin Luther on Thursday and defeated the Knights by a score of 9-0. With the win the Gusties improve to 2-0 on the season.
Men’s Soccer Travels to Martin Luther Thursday
The Gustavus men's soccer team will travel to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn. Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. contest. The Gusties will put their 1-0 record on the line versus the Knights who are 1-1-1.
