The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) recently announced its recipients of the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2018-19 academic year and Gustavus is one of 175 Division III teams to earn the award. Tennis Teams Earn ITA All-Academic Honors

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association recently announced its 2019 All-Academic Teams and Scholar-Athletes with both the Gustavus men’s and women’s teams receiving recognition. This year the Intercollegiate Tennis Association saw an increase in qualifying teams and scholar-athletes. All-Academic honors were awarded to 940 teams and thousands of scholar-athletes.

MIAC Selects Holtan as NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee

Recent Gustavus graduate Nora Holtan (Rochester, Minn.) has advanced one more step in the nomination process for the 2019 NCAA Woman of the Year. The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced Monday that Holtan is one of two former student-athletes to serve as the league’s nominees, joining Carleton’s Ziyi Wang.
