Women’s Golf Gets Spring Season Underway with Match Play Loss to Grinnell Posted on April 1st, 2019 by

PONTA VERDE BEACH, Fla. – The No. 21 Gustavus women’s golf team got its Spring season started Sunday in Ponta Verde Beach, Fla. taking on No. 3 Grinnell.

“You could certainly tell it was our first round out of the gates, but overall I was pleased with our effort,” Head Coach Scott Moe said. “Grinnell is a great team who’s ranked third in the country for a reason. We learned a lot about what we need to work on, mostly short game, which we are getting to work on right away today when we practice at TPC Sawgrass. Thanks to Grinnell though for coming and competing and we look forward to great week and getting back to competition this weekend in St. Louis.”
