Gymnastics Travels to UW-Eau Claire Saturday for Final Away Meet

SAINT PETER, Minn. – The Gustavus gymnastics team competes in its final away meet of the regular season 4 p.m. Saturday at UW-Eau Claire.

There will be no live results or video at Saturday’s meet.



Gustavus competed against Centenary (La.) on Sunday and lost the dual match 190.375-182.725, marking a season-high team score. The Gusties scored 46.950 on vault (season high), 46.725 on floor (season high), 45.825 on bars (season high), and 43.225 on beam.

Amanda Malo (Sr., Greenwood, Minn.) had the best score of the day for the Gusties, posting a season-high 9.650 on the floor for third place. She also scored a season-high 9.475 on vault for second place and totaled 37.025 in the all-around for third place. Sam Ardy (Sr., Thousand Oaks, Calif.) led the Gusties on the bars with a season-high 9.600, tying for third, while Katy Trunk (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) paced the team on the beam with a 9.100.
