Track & Field Shows Improvement at Ted Nelson Classic

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams competed at the Ted Nelson Classic on Saturday, hosted by MSU-Mankato. The women took ninth out of 14 teams with a score of 15, while the men placed 11th out of 14 with 16 points.

MANKATO, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams competed at the Ted Nelson Classic on Saturday, hosted by MSU-Mankato. The women took ninth out of 14 teams with a score of 15, while the men placed 11th out of 14 with 16 points. The meet included a number of Division II teams and high performing Division III teams.

“This was a very good meet for us to go to this time of year,” Head Coach Dale Bahr said. “There were a lot of individual performances that were season and personal bests and that has me very excited with where we are at. We are showing the improvement we want to see.”
