The Gustavus men’s soccer team defeated the Cardinals of Saint Mary’s by a score of 4-1 on Monday afternoon. The Gusties’ unbeaten streak now improves to 10 games and their record improves to 11-1-1 overall and 7-0-1 in the conference while Saint Mary’s drops to 5-8-1 overall and 2-5 in the MIAC.

The No. 11 Gustavus volleyball team looked every part of its national ranking Saturday, claiming two convincing straight-set victories at the St. Kate’s tournament. The Gusties defeated UC-Santa Cruz 25-9, 25-13, 25-16 and followed by beating Luther 25-17, 25-19, 25-18 to extend their winning streak to 13 matches. The Gusties are now 21-2 overall.

The Gustavus men’s tennis doubles team of Chase Johnson (Sr., Golden Valley, Minn.) and Patrick Whaling (Sr., Manikin Sabot, Va.) claimed third place Saturday at the ITA Cup, defeating James Wei and Varun Shanker of Caltech 7-5, 6-3 at Berry College. Johnson and Whaling finish the fall season 11-1 overall and as All-Americans.
