TORRANCE, Calif. – Gustavus men’s track & field thrower Michael Hensch (Jr., North Branch, Minn.) opened competition at the 60th annual Mt. SAC Relays on the campus of El Camino College, taking sixth place in the hammer throw.
Among Division I and Division II competition, Hensch placed sixth with an outdoor personal best throw of 183-10.
On Friday, Hensch will conclude competition at the Mt. SAC Relays, taking part in the shot put prior to heading to Long Beach, Calif. to participate in the Beach Invitational.
