Women’s Tennis Splits Two Matches At Midwest Invite Posted on April 6th, 2018 by

MADISON, Wis. – The No. 40-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team split two matches against ranked opponents during day one of the Midwest Invitational at Nielsen Tennis Stadium on Friday, winning 6-3 over No. 39 DePauw University prior to falling 8-1 against No. 10 University of Chicago.

The Gusties avenged their early season setback versus DePauw, as the Tigers defeated Gustavus 5-4 on Feb. 24. The Marroons of Chicago came into the eight-team tournament as the No. 1 seed and took down the Black and Gold after sweeping Augustana earlier this morning.
