MANKATO, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s track & field team took ninth of 14 teams Saturday at the Ted Nelson Classic on the campus of Minnesota State Mankato, scoring 14.5 points. Minnesota State and Augustana University tied for first place with 122 points each.

“The ladies are young and we had some individuals who had some personal-bests and they were very ecstatic to see that,” said Head Coach Dale Bahr. “They’re going out and competing and I think they’re building some confidence against tough competition. It may not look well in results but we know that we are say the PR’s coming and that’s always a good thing to see.”
