Swimming & Diving Teams Sit In Second Place After Day One At UW-Stevens Point Invite

Both the Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams sit in second place after day one of the UW-Stevens Point Invite on Friday. The women accumulated 381 points, while the men have 480. Division II Minnesota State, Mankato leads the four-team women’s field with 612 points and host UW-Stevens Point leads the three-team men’s field with 607.5 points.

Men’s Hockey Holds On To Take Down No. 14 Ranked Augsburg, 4-1

The Gustavus men's hockey team took a 2-0 lead and held on late, adding two empty net goals to defeat the No. 14-ranked Augsburg University by a score of 4-1 Friday evening at Don Roberts Ice Rink. 

Women’s Hockey And Augsburg Skate To 1-1 Draw

The No. 5-ranked Gustavus women’s hockey team erased a one-goal deficit in the third period Friday and skated to a 1-1 overtime draw against Augsburg. The tie moves the Gusties to 11-2-3 overall and 5-2-2 in the MIAC, while the Auggies move to 9-4-3 overall and 4-2-3 in the league.

Women’s Hoops Hosts St. Kate’s Saturday

The No. 25-ranked Gustavus women’s basketball team is set to host St. Catherine University tomorrow afternoon at Gus Young Court. The Gusties (13-3, 7-2 MIAC) and the Wildcats (7-9, 3-6 MIAC) tipoff at 3 p.m.

No. 5 Women’s Hockey Set For Augsburg Series

The No. 5-ranked Gustavus women’s hockey team heads back into Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play tonight, opening a series with Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minn. Gustavus enters tonights game 11-2-2 overall and 5-2-1 in the MIAC, while the Auggies are 9-4-2 overall and 4-2-2 during conference play.

Gustie Gymnastics Set To Travel To UW-Whitewater

The Gustavus gymnastics team is set for a third consecutive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual meet, heading to Whitewater, Wis. tomorrow evening to take on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Track & Field To Compete In Vanessa​ ​Seljeskog​ ​Classic At Macalester College

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams are set to take part in the Vanessa Seljeskog Classic Friday on the campus of Macalester College. Field events are set to begin at 4:30 p.m. while running events start at 5:30 p.m.

The No. 25-ranked Gustavus women’s basketball team got back to its winning ways Wednesday evening, defeating Augsburg 84-58 to improve to 13-3 overall and 7-2 in the MIAC.

Auggie Three-Pointers Plague Gusties In 59-90 Loss

The Gustavus men's basketball team allowed a season-high 90 points Wednesday evening at Gus Young Court as Augsburg University shot an impressive 14-for-24 from three-point range en route to defeating the Gusties 90-59.
