Kate Holtan Named MIAC Volleyball Hitter Of The Week

The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its Volleyball Athlete of the Week awards this afternoon, with Gustavus leading attacker Kate Holtan (Fy., Rochester, Minn.) earning the Hitter of the Week honor.   

Women’s Golf Moves Up To Fifth At MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women’s golf team moved up one spot on the MIAC Championships leaderboard Sunday, shooting a second round 316 to move to fifth place. McKenzie Swenson (Sr., Buffalo, Minn.) carded the lowest score of the day with a 73, moving up to eighth place on the individual leaderboard.

Women’s Soccer Blanked 1-0 By Bethel

The Gustavus women’s soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback to Bethel on Saturday at the Gustie Soccer Field. The loss drops the Gusties to 7-4-1 overall and 3-3 in the MIAC, while the Royals improve to 5-5-1 overall and 2-4 in the league.

Women’s Golf In Sixth After First Round Of MIAC Championships

The Gustavus women’s golf team shot a 330 (+42) in round one of the MIAC Championships on Saturday at Pebble Creek Golf Club, which is good for sixth place. Carleton leads the field with a 305, while St. Catherine and Saint Benedict are tied for second at 320.

Gustie Volleyball Concludes Wartburg Invite With Two More Wins

The No. 11-ranked Gustavus volleyball team earned two more wins during the final day of the Wartburg College Invitational on Saturday, defeating Wartburg College 3-1 and Luther College 3-0.

The Gustavus men's soccer team earned its third consective Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory Saturday afternoon at Gustie Soccer Field, overmatching Bethel University for a 4-0 victory.
