The Gusties shot 307 in Saturday’s first round and improved to 294 in Sunday’s second round. Sunday’s third round was cancelled due to inclement weather. Augsburg won the invite carding a 573 (+1), Saint John’s took second at 584 (+12), and St. Thomas took third at 591 (+19).

Sam Majka (Sr., Wayzata, Minn.) tied for 44th with a 154 and Alec Aunan (Jr., Rock Island, Ill.) tied for 54 with a 157. All five Gusties improved on their first round scores. Parker Tinsley (Sr., Bloomington, Minn.) and Billy Seeberg (Sr., Northfield, Minn.) played on the Gusties’ No. 2 team and finished their collegiate careers with a 164 and 174, respectively.

“We definitely played better today,” Head Coach Scott Moe said. “We got off to a good start and made a few birdies early on. It’s always tough to finish your season, but very proud of the efforts of all the players this spring. It was nice to see Majka, Koop, Parker and Billy in the lineup for our last event. They have been outstanding guys to have on the squad and will surely be missed.”
