Men’s And Women’s Track & Field Both Take Second At Carleton Relays

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams enjoyed a number of quality performances at the 70th Annual Carleton Relays Saturday. The men’s team took second place out of 10 teams with 135 points, while the women also took second out of eight teams with 185 points. St. Thomas won the men’s team competition with 161.5 points, while Macalester won the women’s side with 200 points.

“Today was a beautiful day with the weather and that put us in good spirits,” Head Coach Dale Bahr said. “We set the tone in the 10k and had a lot of really good performances. There were a lot of personal and season bests, and collectively we performed really well and we’re excited to see what we can do with the conference meet coming up in a few weeks.”
