ST. PETER, Minn. – The No. 35 ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team shut out Macalester College 9-0 Saturday in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match. The win keeps the Gusties unbeaten at 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the MIAC, while Macalester falls to 3-2 overall and 0-2 in the league.

“I was very pleased with the win today,” said Head Coach Jon Carlson. “Macalester provided some interesting challenges and that forced us to make adjustments during the match. This shows us what we need to work on moving forward.”
