Men’s Track & Field Takes Second At Carleton’s Meet Of The Hearts, Women Take Fifth

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track & field teams competed at Carleton’s Meet of the Hearts Saturday. The men’s team took second place out of seven teams with 168.5 points, while the women took fifth of eight with 72 points. Hamline won the women’s side with 169 points, while Carleton won the men's side with 170.5 points.

Women’s Hockey Sweeps Bethel With 3-0 Shutout

The Gustavus women's hockey team claimed its second-straight weekend series sweep with a 3-0 shutout victory at Bethel University Saturday afternoon, improving its overall record to 15-5-3 and its MIAC record to 11-2-3.

Hot Shooting Saint John’s Downs Men’s Basketball 90-65

The Gustavus men’s basketball team couldn’t contain the hot shooting of Saint John’s Saturday afternoon, losing 90-65 in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest. The Johnnies shot 59.3 percent from the field, including 57.7 percent (15-26) from three-point range in the decisive victory. The loss drops the Gusties to 5-18 overall and 5-13 in the MIAC, while the Johnnies improve to 15-7 overall and 11-6 in the league.

Gymnastics Defeats Hamline, Posts Second Highest Team Score In Program History

In front of a packed house at the Sponberg Gymnastics Studio Friday night, the Gustavus gymnastics team defeated Hamline 184.600-184.350 in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference dual meet, posting the second highest team score in program history.

Men’s Hockey Erupts For 6-2 Win At Bethel

The Gustavus men’s hockey team erupted for a season-high six goals from six different skaters Friday in a 6-2 win over Bethel. The win moves the Gusties to 3-15-4 overall and 2-10-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Royals fall to 2-18-2 overall and 1-10-2 in the league.
