Howard Leads No. 13 Women’s Basketball In 84-65 Win At St. Kate’s

The No. 13/20-ranked Gustavus women's basketball team closed out its final regular season road game Wednesday evening at St. Catherine University, coming away with an 84-65 win to improve its record to 23-1 overall, 16-1 MIAC. The 23 wins stands as the second most wins in a season in program history.

Swimming & Diving Set For MIAC Championships

The Gustavus men's and women's swimming and diving teams are ready to compete in the 2017 MIAC Championships on Thursday at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center, which runs through Saturday. Last season, the women finished as the runner-up with 693 points while the men earned a fourth place finish with 468 points.

No. 13 Women’s Hoops Set For Final Regular Season Road Game

The No. 13/20-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College women’s basketball team is set its final regular season road matchup Wednesday evening as they head to St. Paul, Minn. to take on St. Catherine University. The 22-1 (15-1 MIAC) Gusties are set to tip off against the 15-8 (9-7 MIAC) Wildcats at 7 p.m.

Men’s Basketball Nearly Upsets Bethel In Slim 66-62 Loss

The Gustavus men’s basketball team Monday couldn’t hold on to a second half lead at Bethel, losing 66-62 in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup. The Gusties led by seven points nearly halfway through the second half, but the Royals went on a 12-3 run over a three-minute span and held on for the slim victory. The Gusties fall to 5-19 overall and 5-14 in the MIAC, while the Royals improve to 18-6 overall and 14-5 in the league.

Klein Named MIAC Women’s Hockey Athlete Of The Week

Gustavus forward Kaitlyn Klein helped guide the Gusties to a series sweep over Bethel over the weekend to push Gustavus into sole possession of first place in the MIAC.

Men’s Basketball Plays Final Road Game Tonight At Bethel

The Gustavus men’s basketball team is set for its final road test of the season today as it travels to Bethel University for a 7 p.m. tipoff at the Robertson Center Gym. The Gusties enter the matchup with a 5-18 overall record and 5-13 mark in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after a 90-65 loss at Saint John’s on Saturday, while the Royals are 17-6 overall and 13-5 in the league after an 83-62 win at Augsburg.

Men’s Tennis Picks Up Three Wins In Home Opener

The Gustavus men's tennis team opened its spring season home opener with three wins Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center. The No. 20-ranked Gusties defeated the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire 7-2, earned its first conference win over Hamline University 8-1, followed by a 9-0 win over the University of Northwestern-St. Paul to improve its record to 4-2 overall on the season.

Women’s Tennis Earns Pair Of Wins In Home Opener

The No. 36-ranked Gustavus women’s tennis team started its 2017 season with a pair of victories Saturday at the Swanson Tennis Center. The Gusties defeated Hamline 9-0 in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match and then beat Northwestern-St. Paul 8-1 in non-league action, moving to 2-0 on the season.

Teddy Bears Go Flying As Men’s Hockey Shuts Out Bethel 3-0 For Series Sweep

The Gustavus men’s hockey team completed the series sweep over Bethel Saturday at Don Roberts Ice Rink with a 3-0 shutout victory. The win marks the first shutout for the Gusties in two seasons and first sweep since Feb. 2014. Gustavus improves to 4-15-4 overall and 3-10-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, while the Royals drop to 2-19-2 overall and 1-11-2 in the league.

No. 16 Women’s Basketball Hangs On For 61-56 Win At Saint Ben’s

The No. 16/21-ranked Gustavus women's basketball team defeated the College of Saint Benedict Saturday afternoon by a score of 61-56 to improve its record to 22-1 overall and 15-1 in conference play.
