Women’s Hockey Shuts Out St. Norbert, 1-0

The Gustavus women's hockey team started off the new year using all three of its goaltenders to combine for a 1-0 shutout over St. Norbert College Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink.

Gymnastics Kicks Off 2017 Season Saturday At UW-Oshkosh

After taking a step forward last season, the Gustavus gymnastics team looks to keep improving this year with a veteran group as the 2017 campaign begins Saturday at UW-Oshkosh. Head Coach Aryn DeGrood enters her third season at the helm and returns 15 letterwinners to this season’s squad, which she feels has a lot of potential.

Men’s Hockey Hosts UW-Stout Saturday After 27-Day Winter Break

The Gustavus men’s hockey team hosts UW-Stout at 7:05 p.m. Saturday in the first game after a 27-day winter break. The Gusties enter tomorrow's game with a 1-8-3 overall record, while UW-Stout is 6-7. Gustavus last faced No. 7-ranked UW-Eau Claire on Dec. 10 and held the Blugolds to a 2-2 tie at Don Robers Ice Rink. The Blue Devils fell 6-5 to Northland College in their most recent game. UW-Stout will face Hamline University tonight before facing the Gusties in Saturday’s non-conference matchup.

Men’s Basketball Welcomes Saint John’s To Town Saturday

The Gustavus men’s basketball team continues its four-game homestand Saturday as it takes on Saint John’s at 3 p.m. in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game. The Gusties enter the contest 3-8 overall and 3-3 in the MIAC after a thrilling 78-75 win over Augsburg on Wednesday, while the Johnnies are 7-3 overall and 3-2 in the league after a 74-73 loss to Concordia on Wednesday.

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s basketball team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon, hosting the College of Saint Benedict at Gus Young Court. The Gusties are set to tip off against the Blazers at 1 p.m.

Four Games, One Day: Gustavus Athletics Set To Host Winter Showcase Saturday

The Gustavus Adolphus College Athletics Department is set to host its Winter Showcase on Saturday, Jan. 7, which will feature four games on the College campus – men’s and women’s basketball, and men’s and women’s hockey. By donating an item(s) for the St. Peter Food Shelf, fans will be admitted to all four events. All games will be played at Lund Center.

Men’s Basketball Goes Down To The Wire With Augsburg, Comes Out On Top 78-75

Wednesday’s men’s basketball game at Gus Young Court certainly didn’t disappoint the fans in a true wire-to-wire contest where Gustavus came out on top of Augsburg 78-75. The Auggies got off a three-pointer in the final seconds, but a block by Jason Faul (Jr., Prior Lake, Minn.) sealed the victory as the Gusties snapped a six-game losing streak, improving to 3-3 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and 3-8 overall

Women’s Basketball Uses Strong First Half To Down Augsburg, 73-51

The Gustavus women's basketball team began the game on a 17-0 run to jumpstart a 50-point first half, leading to a 73-51 win at Augsburg College Wednesday evening.

Gustavus Launches “The Hill Crew” App To Enhance Fan Engagement

The fan experience at Gustavus Adolphus College events has received a digital enhancement. The College recently launched a new mobile app, “The Hill Crew,” that allows fans to earn points based on events and activities they attend and check in to. The points can then be used to earn prizes and exclusive experiences from the College.
