The Gustavus gymnastics team dropped its home opener Saturday to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater by a score of 188.275-181.725. Alex Kopp (Sr., Wayzata, Minn.) highlighted the Gusties by winning the beam with a score of 9.625 and the all-around at 37.700.

No. 22 Women’s Hoops Takes Down Macalester, 103-70

The No. 22/25-ranked Gustavus women's basketball team broke triple digits in defeating Macalester College Saturday afternoon at Gus Young Court, improving its program record win streak to 17 games and moving its record to 17-0 overall and 10-0 in MIAC play.

Men’s Track & Field Wins Macalester Kilt Classic, Women Take Third

The Gustavus men’s and women’s track and field teams started the indoor season strong Friday at Macalester’s Kilt Classic. The men took first place with 179 points, including seven individual event champions, while the women took third place with 116 points, including three event champs.

Men’s Hockey Drops Heartbreaker To St. Olaf 3-2 In Overtime

The Gustavus men’s hockey team suffered a 3-2 overtime setback Friday against St. Olaf. A penalty called against Gustavus early in the overtime period set up the game-winning goal for the visitors, dropping the Gusties to 1-11-4 overall and 0-6-1 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Gymnastics Hosts Home Opener Saturday Against UW-Whitewater

After two meets on the road to start the season, the Gustavus gymnastics team is set to host its home opener at 1 p.m. Saturday against the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater at the Sponberg Gymnastics Studio. The Gusties are 1-1 in Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference duals, while the Warhawks are 1-0.

The No. 22/25-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College women’s basketball team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday afternoon, hosting Macalester College at Gus Young Court. The 16-0 (9-0 MIAC) Gusties are set to tip off against the 9-7 (3-6 MIAC) Scots at 1 p.m.

Men’s Hockey Back To MIAC Play This Weekend Against St. Olaf

After completing this season’s non-conference slate of games last weekend, the Gustavus men’s hockey team is set for the final stretch of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contests, starting this weekend against St. Olaf. Friday’s game at Don Roberts Ice Rink begins at 7:05 p.m., while Saturday’s game at the Northfield Ice Arena begins at 7:30 p.m. The Gusties enter with a 1-10-4 overall record and 0-5-1 mark in the MIAC, while the Oles are 4-10-2 overall and 2-5-1 in the league.

Women’s Hockey Prepares For St. Olaf Series

The Gustavus women’s hockey team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play against St. Olaf College this weekend. The Oles (4-10, 3-5 MIAC) host the Gusties (8-5-2, 4-2-2 MIAC) in Northfield at 7:30 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, Gustavus hosts St. Olaf in St. Peter at 2 p.m.
