Despite posting a higher shooting percentage, the Gustavus men’s basketball team lost to Concordia 75-63 Wednesday, splitting the season series. The defeat drops the Gusties to 3-14 overall and 3-9 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

No. 19 Women’s Basketball Hangs On For 61-59 Win At Concordia

The No. 19/22 ranked Gustavus women's basketball team trailed at halftime before posting a 22-11 run to start the second half, leading to a 61-59 victory over Concordia College Wednesday evening to remain undefeated with an 18-0 overall, 11-0 MIAC record.

Swimming & Diving Named To CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams both received recognition from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) as Scholar All-America Teams. The awards are in recognition of teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the 2016 Fall Semester. The Gustie men achieved a 3.22 team GPA during the Fall Semester, while the women posted a 3.15 GPA – both marks that rank third among Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams.

The No. 19-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College women’s basketball team continues Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Wednesday evening, traveling to Moorhead, Minn. to take on Concordia College. The 17-0 (10-0 MIAC) Gusties are set to tip off against the 5-12 (2-8 MIAC) Cobbers at 5:45 p.m.

The Gustavus men’s basketball team is looking to snap a five-game losing streak Wednesday at Concordia College. Tipoff of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game is 7:45 p.m. at Memorial Auditorium. The Gusties enter the contest 3-13 overall and 3-8 in the MIAC after a 95-91 double overtime loss to Macalester, while the Cobbers are 9-7 overall and 6-5 in the league after a 73-68 victory over Saint Mary’s.

Men’s Hockey Gets Revenge, Defeats St. Olaf 3-2 In Overtime

The Gustavus men’s hockey team got retribution Saturday, defeating St. Olaf 3-2 in overtime one day removed from a 3-2 overtime loss to the Oles. The win is the first in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the Gusties as they improve to 2-11-4 overall and 1-6-1 in the league.

Men’s Basketball Falls 95-91 In Heartbreaking Double Overtime Loss To Macalester

The Gustavus men’s basketball team dropped a heartbreaking double overtime Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest Saturday to Macalester, 95-91. The Gusties erased a 10-point deficit in the second half to force the extra period but were unable to find a rhythm in the extra frames as the Scots came out on top, dropping the home team to 3-13 overall and 3-8 in the MIAC. Macalester improves to 6-10 overall and 2-9 in the league.

Women’s Hockey Upends St. Olaf 7-1 To Take Series Sweep

The Gustavus women's hockey team used seven different scorers to defeat St. Olaf College Saturday afternoon to earn the series sweep and improve its record to 10-5-2 overall and 6-2-2 in MIAC play.
