The No. 17/21-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College women’s basketball team is set to host the No. 3/4-ranked University of St. Thomas Wednesday evening. The matchup brings together two unbeaten teams with the 19-0 (12-0 MIAC) Gusties and the 18-0 (12-0 MIAC) Tommies.
The Gustavus men’s basketball team Monday shot nearly 60 percent from the field, while holding Augsburg to 37 percent in a 78-55 win to complete the series sweep. The Gustavus women's hockey team and Concordia College battled to a 2-2 tie Saturday afternoon at Don Roberts Ice Rink to take three out of four points in the series with the Cobbers. With the tie, the Gusties move their record to 11-5-3 overall, 7-2-3 MIAC.
