Men’s & Women’s Golf Teams Lead Respective Fields At Augsburg Invite
Both the Gustavus Adolphus College men's and women's golf teams lead their respective fields after one day of play at the Augsburg Invite on Saturday. The men's tournament is being played at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker, Minn., while the women's field is located at the Les Bolstad Course on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The men's squad leads second place Augsburg by three strokes (304-307), while the women are ahead of second place Bethel by 13 (345-358).
Men’s Tennis Takes Down Macalester, Hamline To Remain Perfect In MIAC
The Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team remained perfect in MIAC play on Saturday, as it took down Macalester 7-2 and Hamline 9-0 in matches played at Lifetime Fitness, Lakeville. With the wins, the Gusties are now 19-6 overall and 8-0 in the conference.
Women’s Tennis Takes Down St. Kate’s 8-1
The Gustavus Adolphus College women's tennis team took down St. Catherine University 8-1 in a conference match played Saturday evening at the Baseline Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota. With the win, the Gusties move to 13-6 overall and 4-0 in the MIAC.
Men’s Tennis Victorious Over St. Olaf 8-1
The Gustavus Adolphus College men's tennis team earned an 8-1 victory over St. Olaf College on Friday evening at the Owatonna Tennis Center. With the win, the Gusties move to 17-6 overall and 6-0 in the MIAC.
Men’s Golf To Compete In Augsburg Invite This Weekend
The Gustavus Adolphus College men's golf team is set to return to Minnesota for the remainder of the spring this weekend, as it will compete in the Augsburg College Spring Invite this Saturday and Sunday. The 36-hole tournament will take place in Becker, Minn. at Pebble Creek Golf Course.
Baseball Doubleheader Against Hamline At CHS Field Moved To Sunday
Saturday’s 1 p.m. scheduled baseball game between Gustavus and Hamline at CHS Field in St. Paul has been moved to Sunday - same time and same place. Gustavus enters the doubleheader with an even 8-8 overall record and 1-1 mark in the MIAC, while the Pipers are 12-8 overall and 2-2 in the league.

Tennis Teams Re-Open Conference Play This Weekend On Road
After several weeks of competing against top regional and national non-conference competition, the Gustavus Adolphus College men's and women's tennis teams return to MIAC play this weekend. Both teams play each of their three matches on the road, as the men take on St. Olaf on Friday and are back in action Saturday with matches against Hamline and Macalester. The women take on Macalester and St. Kate's on Saturday and return to competition on Sunday against Saint Mary's.
Baseball Loses Shootout, Wins Pitcher’s Duel Against Saint Mary’s
It was a tale of two stories Wednesday on a cold and blustery day at the Gustie Baseball Field as Gustavus and Saint Mary’s split a MIAC doubleheader. The first game featured a combined 17 runs and 25 hits with the Cardinals winning the shootout 10-7. The second was highlighted by a pitcher’s duel, ending in the Gusties’ favor 3-2. Gustavus moves to 8-8 overall and 1-1 in the MIAC, while the Cardinals are now 13-9 overall and 1-3 in the league.
Krasaway Earns MIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor
The Gustavus Adolphus College men's golf team spent the first three days of April in Camp LeJeune, N.C., to compete in the prestigious Camp LeJeune Gold Championship, which included many of the top teams in NCAA Division III. The Gusties - and especially senior Andrew Krasaway (Hermantown, Minn.) - certainly rose to the occasion, as the Gusties finished fifth out of 13 teams, led by Krasaway's 12th-place individual finish, as he shot 72 or better in each of the final two rounds. For his performance, the MIAC sports information directors honored Krasaway Wednesday with the first MIAC Men's Golf Athlete-of-the-Week award of the spring 2016 season.
