The Gustavus men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are set to compete against St. Olaf College Friday night in Northfield, Minn and at Morningside College Saturday afternoon.

Volleyball Shuts Out Wartburg In NCAA Regional First Round

Having last season’s experience at the NCAA Championships provided a higher comfort level for the Gustavus volleyball team Thursday as it cruised to a three-set victory over Wartburg College in the opening round of the regional tournament. The Gusties won by scores of 25-23, 25-15, 25-16 to claim their first win at the NCAA tournament since 1986.

Cross Country Set For NCAA Regionals

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country squads are set to travel to Northfield, Minn. on Saturday to compete in the NCAA Central Region Championships at the Carleton Arboretum on the campus of Carleton College.

For the seventh time in program history and the second consecutive year, the Gustavus volleyball team is making an appearance at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) tournament. The Gusties (23-7) received the No. 3 seed in the St. Paul, Minn. regional and are set to face the No. 6 seed Wartburg College (21-5) at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ericksen Center on the campus of the University of Northwestern-St. Paul.
