ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s track & field team took second out of six teams at the Macalester Kilt Classic on Friday night. The Gusties tallied 119 points, while Bethel took first place with 128.5 points.

“It was very cool to see the women go 1-2-3-4 in the shot put,” Head Coach Dale Bahr said. “That shows a lot of senior leadership and poise. Sarah Swanson had a career personal record in the weight throw and a season personal record in the shot put. She moved up from 18th on the national list into the top 10.”
The Gusties wrap up the indoor season next week at the MIAC Championships, held March 4-5 in Northfield, Minn.
