Men’s Basketball Looks To Get Back On Track Saturday At Hamline

The Gustavus men's basketball team is looking to get back in the win column Saturday afternoon as it travels to Hamline University for a 1 p.m. MIAC test. The Gusties enter the game with a 4-7 overall record and 1-5 mark in the MIAC, while the Pipers come in with a 3-7 overall record and 1-4 mark in the league.

Women’s Hockey Falls To UW-Stevens Point 4-0

Following a three-week long break from game action, the Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team had little time to adjust to being back on the ice as it faced the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Friday evening. For much of the night, the Gusties looked like a team that was trying to get back in its groove and the Pointers took advantage, handing the Gusties a 4-0 loss at Ice Hawks Arena. The loss puts Gustavus at 3-7-3 on the season, while UW-Stevens Point improves to 7-6-2 overall.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team suffered a 9-1 loss to No. 10-ranked UW-Eau Claire on Friday night to drop to 3-7-2 overall.

2016 Gymnastics Season Preview

It is the beginning of a new season and with the fresh start the Gustavus gymnastics team has its eyes set on making big strides forward. The Gusties know they can’t affect the scoring of their opponents in a competitive Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, so they plan on keeping the focus on themselves to improve every day.

Men’s Hockey Kicks Off 2016 Against UW-Eau Claire, UW-Stout This Weekend

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s hockey team kicks off the 2016 calendar year with a pair of games against WIAC opponents this weekend. On Friday, the Gusties travel to No. 10-ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire for a 7 p.m. game at the Hobbs Ice Center and then return home Saturday to the friendly confines of Don Roberts Ice Rink for a 7:05 p.m. game against the University of Wisconsin-Stout. The Gusties enter the weekend with a 3-6-2 overall record, while UW-Eau Claire is 8-3-2 and UW-Stout is 6-4-2.

Swimming & Diving’s Senior Day Meet Vs. Carleton To Be Live Streamed On Friday

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are set to face Carleton College in a dual meet on Friday at 5 p.m. in the Vic Gustafson Pool. Fans not in attendance will be able to view the meet online through the Gustavus athletics website. Gustavus will provide a high definition video stream of the evening’s event for viewing on computers, tablets, or smart phones.

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team will compete Friday, Jan. 8 against the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. in a 7 p.m. matchup at the Multi Activity Center. Gustavus enters the game with a 3-6-3 overall record, while UW-Stevens Point comes into the game at 6-6-2 overall record.
