Men’s Basketball Wins Third Straight, Defeats Bethel 82-75

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s basketball team won its third straight game against Bethel University in a nail biter on Wednesday evening at Gus Young Court. The win pushes the Gusties to 8-10 overall, and 5-8 in the MIAC, while the Royals drop to 12-5 overall, and 7-5 in the league.

Men’s Basketball To Take on Bethel Tonight

The Gustavus men’s basketball team is back to the friendly confines of Gus Young Court at 7 p.m. Wednesday for game two of the season series against Bethel University. The Royals won game one of the season series 82-73 on Dec. 9. The Gusties enter the matchup with a 7-10 overall record and 4-8 mark in the MIAC, while the Royals are 12-4 overall and 7-4 in the league. Gustavus is trying to continue a two-game winning streak, while Bethel has won two of their last three games.

Men’s Basketball Back On Track, Defeats Augsburg 90-76

The Gustavus Adolphus College men’s basketball team is back on track after three consecutive losses as it defeated Augsburg College 90-76 on Saturday afternoon at Gus Young Court. Women’s Hockey Back In Action, Takes On St. Olaf This Weekend

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team is back in action this weekend with a home-away series against St. Olaf College on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Gusties will play at home at 7 p.m., and will travel to Northfield, Minn. on Saturday evening for a 7:30 p.m. faceoff. Gustavus enters the series with a 4-7-4 overall record, and 3-2-3 mark in the MIAC, while St. Olaf comes in with at 1-13-1 overall and 0-7-1 in the league.

Women’s Hockey Back On Track, Defeats St. Catherine 3-0

ST. PETER, Minn. The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team was able to get back on track in its first home game of the New Year, defeating St. Catherine University 3-0 on Saturday at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The victory pushes Gustavus to 4-7-3 overall, and 3-2-3 in the MIAC, while the Wildcats drop to 1-10-4 overall, and 0-7-1 in the league.

Women’s Hockey Back In Conference Play This Weekend With Series Vs. St. Kate’s

The Gustavus Adolphus College women’s hockey team returns to conference action this weekend with a home-away series against St. Catherine University on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the Gusties travel to St. Paul, Minn. for a 7:30 p.m game, and return to St. Peter Saturday afternoon for a 2 p.m. faceoff. Gustavus enters the series with a 3-7-3 overall record, and 2-2-2 mark in the MIAC, while St. Catherine comes in with at 1-9-3 overall and 0-6-0 in the league.
