Volleyball Wins In Four Sets Over Macalester To Stay Unbeaten In The MIAC

The Gustavus volleyball team defeated Macalester College in four sets Wednesday night to improve to 19-2 overall and 7-0 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The Gusties won by set scores of 25-15, 25-6, 22-25 and 25-14 to increase their win streak to 19 matches, which is one behind the program record.

Women’s Soccer Ranked No. 10 In NSCAA North Region

The Gustavus women’s soccer team has garnered regional attention after starting its 2015 campaign with a 7-4-1 overall record. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its regional rankings Tuesday and the Gusties come in at No. 10 in the North Region.

The Gustavus volleyball team is set to host Macalester College at 7 p.m. Wednesday in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup. The contest is designated as Gustavus’ annual ‘Dig Pink’ match to help raise awareness of breast cancer. The Gusties enter with an 18-2 overall record and 6-0 mark in the MIAC, while the Scots are 13-7 overall and 1-5 in the conference.
