Having dropped two straight games for the first time this season, the Gustavus women's basketball team seeks a turnaround on Wednesday night in Northfield.

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s basketball team will travel to Northfield for a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference showdown against the Knights of Carleton College on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Gustavus and Carleton will square off in the West Gym at 1:00 p.m. in what will be the only matchup between two teams this season.

The Gusties begin a new week sitting in a three-way tie for fourth place in the conference standings alongside Concordia and Saint Benedict at 7-5 in the MIAC and 13-6 overall. Carleton is in a four-way pileup for seventh place alongside Augsburg, Hamline, and St. Olaf at 5-7 in league play and 7-12 overall.

Gustavus seeks a turnaround on Wednesday night having dropped its last two games and three of the last four. In their most recent outing on Saturday at Hamline, the Gusties’ late rally fell short in an 82-79 loss. Carleton looks to build on a 51-42 home victory over St. Olaf in last action on Saturday.
