The Gustavus football team hosted its 24th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament with more than 150 participants on Friday, Aug. 1.
Le Sueur, Minn. – More than 150 alumni, family, and friends of the Gustavus Adolphus football program attended the 24th Annual Golden Gustie Football Golf Tournament held Friday, Aug. 1 at the Le Sueur Country Club.
This year’s participants were treated to an 18-hole four-man scramble tournament with cart, lunch, and dinner following the day’s event.
The Gustavus football team will report to campus on Saturday, Aug. 16 for training camp. The Gusties open the 2014 season with a non-conference test against Crown College on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Hollingsworth Field in St. Peter. Gustavus is coming off a 2013 season during which it went 6-4 overall and 4-4 in the MIAC.
