St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team remained ranked eighth in the latest USCHO.com Division III Women’s Hockey Poll, which was released Monday. The Gusties defeated Bethel in the semifinals of the MIAC Playoffs on Saturday to advance to the MIAC Championship against St. Thomas. That game will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 2:00 p.m., at the St. Thomas Ice Arena.
This week’s top ten remained largely consistent with that of last week’s. Bethel, who ranked 10th in last week’s poll, dropped out after its loss on Saturday. Lake Forest replaces the Royals in 10th. The only other change came at the fourth spot, as Middlebury dropped to No. 6. St. Thomas is the only other member of the MIAC to rank in the top ten at No. 7.
