St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s basketball team will host Saint Mary’s University in an MIAC contest on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. on Gus Young Court. The Gusties sit in sixth place in the conference standings at 10-9 in the MIAC and 13-9 overall. Saint Mary’s entered the week ranked No. 20 in the USA SPORTS Division III Coaches Poll. The Cardinals are deadlocked in first place in the MIAC alongside St. Thomas at 17-2 in the MIAC and 20-2 overall.
Not only is Saturday’s game designated as Senior Day, but it will also be St. Peter Youth Basketball Day at Gus Young Court. All St. Peter students ages 18 and under will receive free admission and a team poster at both the women’s game at 1:00 p.m. and the men’s game at 3:00 p.m. After each game the Gustavus players will be available to sign autographs.
