St. Paul, Minn. – As part of its identity initiative, the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) office released a promotional video entitled “MIAC: Quality Athletics” on Tuesday afternoon.  The video was conceptualized, directed, and produced by Gustavus women’s hockey player Carolyn Draayer (Jr., Deephaven, Minn.), who was contracted by the conference after producing a promotional video for the Gustavus women’s hockey team and the “Be The Difference” series for the Gustavus Athletic Department.

In a press release from the MIAC, Carolyn was quoted as saying, “I was asked if I could replicate the same dramatic and intense feel of the Gustavus women’s hockey video for all 13 schools of the MIAC.  It seemed like an enormous and somewhat daunting, but exciting, feat when they first pitched the idea to me … I’m thrilled with how the video turned out … I could not be more grateful for this incredible learning experience and the opportunity to promote my conference.”
