Men’s Basketball Hosts Carleton Saturday Afternoon At Gus Young Court Posted on January 11th, 2014 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s basketball team (8-4, 5-2 MIAC) will look to turn its recent struggles around when it hosts Carleton College (5-5, 3-2 MIAC) on Saturday, Jan. 11th at Gus Young Court. Saturday’s opening tip is set for 3:00 p.m., directly following the conclusion of the women’s game at 1:00 p.m.

After beginning the year 7-1, the Gusties have struggled as of late, dropping three of their last four contests, the latest of which was a 68-60 loss on their home floor to Bethel on Wednesday night. They will face a Carleton team that was won five of its last six games, the latest of which was a 54-53 triumph over Concordia on Wednesday night in Northfield. During the six-game stretch, th lone loss came at the hands of No. 11 St. Thomas.
