St. Peter, Minn. – After 27 days without a game, the eighth-ranked Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team will travel to Stevens Point, Wis., for a weekend series against No. 5 UW-Stevens Point. The Gusties will look to avenge a 3-0 loss to UW-River Falls the last time they took the ice, which was all the way back on Saturday, Dec. 13th at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Pointers are most recently coming off a split with St. Norbert last weekend, winning 3-1 on Friday night before reversing the 3-1 score on Saturday in a losing effort. Gustavus enters the weekend with a record of 7-2-2 overall, while UW-Stevens Point comes in with a record of 12-2-1. The series will kick off on Friday night with an opening faceoff is set for 7:00 p.m., followed by a 2:30 p.m., puck drop on Saturday.
