Sam Renier Featured On MIAC Student-Athlete Spotlight Posted on September 19th, 2013 by

St. Paul, Minn. – Gustavus Adolphus men’s cross country runner Sam Renier (So., Cambridge, Minn.) has been featured on the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s (MIAC) Student-Athlete Spotlight.  The MIAC Student-Athlete Spotlight is a series highlighting different student-athletes within the conference each week.

Renier, a graduate of Cambridge-Isanti High School, is a biology major who also competes on the men’s track and field team.

The Gustavus men’s and women’s cross country teams will be in action on Saturday, Sept. 21 when they travel to Northfield, Minn. to take part in the St. Olaf Invitational.  The women’s 6k race will begin at 10:00 a.m., while the men’s 8k race will take place after at 10:45 a.m.
