Women’s Golf Ranked No. 15 In Golf World/WGCA Poll

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s golf team dropped one spot to No. 15 in the most recent Golf World/WGCA Division III College Women’s Coaches’ Poll.  The poll, which ranked the Gusties No. 14 previously, combines the resources of Golf World magazine and the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

Methodist, with 10 of 16 first-place votes, retained the top spot in the Golf World/WGCA women’s Division III coaches’ poll.  Mary Hardin-Baylor retained its No. 2 spot, earning five first-place votes (No. 4 DePauw is the only one that with a vote). Washington (St. Louis) is No. 3.

Gustavus is one of four teams from the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference to earn a spot in the top 25.  St. Olaf is ranked No. 10, St. Thomas is ranked No. 21, and Carleton is ranked No. 23.
