St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus men’s golf team moved up another place in the most recent Golf World/Nike Golf Division III College Coaches’ Poll.  The Gusties, who were slated sixth in the last poll released in late March, are ranked No. 5 among NCAA Division III schools in the April 22nd poll.  The poll is the result of a collaboration of resources between Golf World magazine, Nike Golf, and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

The complete results, including results from Divisions I, II, NAIA and NJCAA will appear in the April 22, 2013 issue of Golf World and are live now: http://golfdig.st/fnmTj6

Oglethorpe, a five-time winner during the 2012-13 season, remained No. 1 in the most recent Golf World/Nike Golf men’s Division III coaches’ poll. The Stormy Petrels claimed nine of the 13 available first-place votes.  Methodist, Illinois Wesleyan and Saint John’s (Minn.) all maintained their spots behind Oglethorpe.
