Women’s Hockey Battles Bethel In MIAC Playoff Semifinal Thursday Posted on February 28th, 2013 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team is set to begin its push towards a 10th consecutive MIAC Playoff title on Thursday night. The Gusties welcome the No. 4-seed Bethel Royals to St. Peter for semifinal action at Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Royals defeated No. 5-seed St. Catherine on Tuesday night in the first round to advance to Thursday night’s match-up. Gustavus, the regular season conference champion, is making its 14th appearance in the MIAC Playoffs while Bethel makes its seventh. The Gusties enter the contest with a record of 24-0-1 (18-0-0 MIAC) and one of two unbeaten teams in all of Division III women’s hockey.  The Royals bring a record of 15-9-2 (11-5-2 MIAC) to the match-up.
