St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s basketball team will host Saint Mary’s University in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) match-up Wednesday night in St. Peter. The Gusties enter Wednesday night’s contest after suffering three straight losses to MIAC opponents, dropping games to St. Olaf (70-66), Bethel (82-62) and Saint John’s (59-57). Similarly, the Cardinals come into the Wednesday on a three-game skid with losses to Augsburg (64-61), Hamline (94-78) and St. Thomas (87-46). Gustavus posts a record of 9-9 (7-7 MIAC) on the season while Saint Mary’s displays a mark of 3-15 (2-11).
