St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus women’s basketball team welcomes Concordia College to Gus Young Court for what will be a battle between two of the top three teams in the MIAC. With a 66-48 victory over Augsburg on Wednesday night, Gustavus improved to 11-3 overall and 10-1 in the MIAC , maintaining a first place standing in the MIAC alongside St. Thomas. Concordia was also in action on Wednesday, traveling to Arden Hills and taking care of Bethel by the score of 63-39. The Cobbers improved to 10-4 overall and 9-2 in the MIAC, sitting alone begin Gustavus and St. Thomas in the conference standings. Tip-off for Saturday’s game is set for 1:00 p.m.
