Women’s Hockey Set For Top-Ten Showdown With UW-River Falls Tonight Posted on December 12th, 2012 by

St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus Adolphus women’s hockey team is set to travel to River Falls, Wis., where it will meet UW-River Falls in a non-conference match-up tonight at 7:05 p.m.  The Gusties, ranked No. 2 in the USCHO.com Division III Women’s Hockey Poll, enter tonight’s contest 8-0-0 on the year, and look for their ninth consecutive win to start the season for the first time in school history.  Meanwhile, the Falcons, ranked No. 6 in the USCHO.com poll, come into tonight’s match-up 7-2-2 on the season, including two straight wins.  Following tonight’s game, the two squads will return to St. Peter for the second game of the series on Friday night at Don Roberts Ice Rink.  Opening faceoff for that game is set for 7:00 p.m.
