St. Peter, Minn. – The Gustavus men’s hockey team fell seven spots to No. 12 in the most recent USCHO.com Division III Men’s Poll released Monday, Nov. 12.
The Gusties suffered their first sweep of the season last weekend to Bethel University, falling 3-2 on Friday night in Blaine and 2-0 Saturday night in St. Peter. Gustavus is currently 3-3-0 overall and 0-2-0 in the MIAC after the opening weekend of MIAC play.
Gustavus will look to rebound this weekend when it takes on No. 12 St. Thomas in a home/away series. The Gusties kick the weekend off by hosting St. Thomas on Friday night at 7:05 p.m. in Don Roberts Ice Rink. The Three Crowns will then travel to Mendota Heights for the series finale set to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
