Women’s Basketball Tips Off With St. Thomas For MIAC Championship Saturday

The Gustavus women’s basketball team travels to St. Paul on Saturday afternoon for a 3:00 p.m. tip-off for the MIAC Championship against the University of St. Thomas. The second-seeded Gusties enter with a 20-6 overall record after defeating Concordia 61-49 in the semifinals, while the Tommies boast a No. 11 national ranking with a 25-1 overall mark after topping Saint Mary’s 58-45. The winner of the MIAC title game will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, which begins on Saturday, March 3.
