Men’s Hockey To Battle St. Olaf In Final Series Of Regular Season Posted on February 17th, 2012 by

Ross Ring-Jarvi with his parents Roland and Sue on Parents Day against Concordia earlier this seaosn. Ring-Jari, the lone senior on the team, will be honored on Saturday as a part of Senior Day.

The Gustavus men’s hockey team is set to battle St. Olaf College in an away/home series to cap off the regular season this Friday, Feb. 17th and Saturday, Feb. 18th.  The squads will kick off the weekend at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night at the Northfield Ice Arena in Northfield, Minn.  On Saturday, the Gusties and Oles will battle in the season-finale in Don Roberts Ice Rink at 7:05 p.m.

Due to a 4-1 win by Saint John’s over Bethel last night in St. Cloud, Gustavus and St. Olaf are now tied for third place in the league standings with 16 points.  Gustavus is 13-6-4 overall and 7-5-2 in the MIAC, while St. Olaf is 11-7-5 overall and 7-5-2 in the MIAC.
