The Gustavus women’s basketball team will travel to St. Paul Saturday afternoon for a 3:00 p.m. tip-off against St. Catherine University. The Gusties enter at 16-4 overall and 14-3 in the MIAC as the conference’s No. 2 team, while the Wildcats come in without a win in the league at 0-17 and 1-19 overall. Thursday, senior captain Molly Geske was named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-District Women’s Basketball Team for District 6, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The Mendota Heights, Minn. native will celebrate the recognition by playing in her 100th career game as a Gustie.
