Freshman Tommy Lundquist went 2-for-2 with a double and freshman Kellan Euerle pitched five solid innings to help the Gustavus baseball team defeat Middlebury 7-6 on Wednesday afternoon in Phoeniz, Arizona. Taylor Fish came in to pitch in the seventh inning. Fish shut the Panthers down to secure the victory for the Gusties and earn the save.
Gustavus, which is now 2-6 on the season, will wrap up its Spring Break Trip to Arizona tomorrow with a game against Williams at 10 am and a game against Oberlin at 1:30 pm.
